Alloy Fabricators, Inc., a one-stop shop in Ohio for all metal fabrication needs, announced the opening of its new 8,000-square-foot expansion solely dedicated to CNC machining operations. This addition, in the planning stages for more than a year, enables Alloy Fabricators to better serve its current customer base and offer expanded capabilities to new customers looking for high-quality parts and components from a single source.
The company procured three machines from Haas Automation that offer high-speed capabilities and a greater degree of precision. These advanced capabilities enable Alloy Fabricators to produce parts or prototypes with
- More precise machine capabilities
- Less material waste
- Reduced turnaround times
- Greater quality control
- Faster turnaround times
The VF-2SS is a high-performance Super-Speed vertical machining center that offers quick tool changes for reduced cycle times. This will allow Alloy Fabricators to process customer jobs with greater efficiency, speed and accuracy.
A VF-4 Series vertical mill offers four-axis capabilities with high-speed spindles, to produce an excellent finish in a shorter run time.
A new lathe, the ST-30Y, features a live Y-axis tooling and a bar feeder, for milling, drilling and tapping, featuring rigidity and high thermal stability for greater precision and accuracy regardless of run size.
Exact specifications for the new machines and a list of the CNC machining, processes and capabilities offered by Alloy Fabricators is listed on the web site.
Dedicated Climate Control Room
As part of its plant addition, Alloy Fabricators included a climate-controlled quality control room, with a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CCM) to accurately measure parts. This dedicated space in a climate-controlled environment offers clients a greater degree of accuracy during parts measurement.
“The new, dedicated machining area offers customers the opportunity to manufacture products within tight tolerances and specifications all under one roof, for a full service, single-source approach to metal fabrication projects,” said Dan Dietrich, Chief Operating Officer for Alloy Fabricators. “Small runs are our specialty. If you’re a manufacturer in central, Northeast Ohio, come talk to us.”
Alloy Fabricators has worked with all types of metal including steel, carbon steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and aluminum. Services or processes include CNC punching, laser cutting, tube bending, welding, powdered coating, shearing, and forming for a wide variety of industries.
